CODE BLU THEME ICON INSTRUCTIONS

To skin your own icons, please do the following.

1.) Locate icon_maker.psd in the Code Blu HD.theme/psd file folder.

2.) Launch Photoshop and open icon_maker.psd

3.) Find the icon you need in Google image search.

4.) Drag the icon from your browser directly into your open icon_maker.psd in Photoshop.

5.) Drag your new icon layer between the two Cydia icon layers where it says "Place icons between Cydia icons". When correctly positioned you'll see a little down arrow on the left of your arrow. This indicates correct placement for masking and your icon will be masked to the shape of the shield.

6.) Move and scale your icon to fit the shield shape and then FILE > SAVE FOR WEB AND DEVICES as a .png 24 file.

7.) Upload to your phone to the appropriate location.


FINDING THE CORRECT FOR YOUR ICON

1.) Get AppInfo from Cydia and launch.

2.) Click the PACKAGES icon at the bottom.

3.) Scroll down to the app in question and click. For the sake of example, let's call it YourApp.

4.) On the next screen you'll see PACKAGE: com.YourApp  Write down com.YourApp. It's case sensitive so be careful.

5.) Now scroll down to INSTALLED FILES and click.

6.) Hunt for the icon file name…it's often icon@2x.png. It's also case sensitive so be careful. Write it down.

7. SSH to your phone and navigate to the Code Blu HD/Bundles folder.

8. Make a new folder named com.YourApp (or whatever the app is which you found in AppInfo).

9. Copy the icon you made to this folder and be sure it's named correctly. It's case sensitive so be careful. Some apps may require multiple copies of the same icon with different names, such as icon@2x.png, icon.png, etc. If your icon fails to load you may not have all the required files. Check AppInfo again.

10. You MUST respiring with Winterboard for your icon to show as it deletes the cache each time. Turn Winterboard OFF/ON and then click RESPRING.
